Very interesting! Did you know that stock price development moves in Fibonacci waves too? This suggests that human action is a part of nature just like tree and animal development. Everything is connected somehow ... :)
Thanks for sharing. The Elliott waves are interesting and useful in Technical market analysis of the market but he doesn't discuss Fibonacci. Where do you get a reference?
There are quite a few of them. I read about this 10 years ago. It is very useful for individual traders and investors to understand nature's development patterns, especially once you realize that all development on our planet unfolds in accordance with Fibonacci numbers. :)
Thanks. Socionomics is a cool concept & I will watch it. As for Fibonacci predicting Elliott waves and other human choice events, I think it's not that straightforward. See, in nature, there are no shallow or deep retractions, flat corrections, etc. Whether it's sunflower seeds or pineapple skin, Fibonacci patterns are fairly predictable. I will explain in my book the nature's wisdom for this predictability. Humans, on the other hand, can rig systems and also act emotional and as herds. You know the proverbial "pigs get slaughtered first in the market" phrase used by professional investors, etc. I like the type of analysis by Hedgeye using Quads of growth and inflation, but even theirs misses the mark many times.

It is called socionomics. The guy behind is Robert Prechter Jr. and I think he claims it is valid science.
